Master the Backbone of Modern Tech: Start Your Linux & Systems Administration Career with TeckyGuys Academy
From cloud platforms to servers to the automation running behind almost every app you use, Linux is everywhere in modern technology. If you want a skill set that opens doors into cloud computing, DevOps, cybersecurity, and infrastructure roles, the TeckyGuys Academy Linux & Systems Administration Pathway gives you a hands-on, structured way to build it.
This three-level program pairs foundational and advanced Linux coursework with real TeckyGuys labs, server simulations, and — at the advanced level — automation, virtualization, and container operations.
The Three Levels
Linux Foundations
Start with Linux Unhatched and Linux Essentials. Build core command-line and system fundamentals through TeckyGuys labs, then pass a practical assessment. Prepares you for the separate LPI Linux Essentials certification.
Linux Systems Administration
Advance through Linux 1 and Linux 2, apply your skills in a server-administration simulation, and complete a capstone assessment — building toward junior Linux or systems-support readiness and professional certifications like LPIC-1 or CompTIA Linux+.
Advanced Linux, Automation & Platform Operations
Go further into service administration, automation, virtualization, containers, monitoring, and incident response, all inside a governed, access-controlled lab environment. Capped off with a full platform-operations capstone. (advanced, opening after activation)
Who Should Register
Beginners with no prior Linux or systems experience
IT support technicians ready to specialize in servers and systems
Career changers aiming for cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure roles
Anyone preparing for Linux certifications (Linux Essentials, LPIC-1, Linux+, RHCSA)
What You Walk Away With
Hands-on experience with real Linux distributions, command-line tools, automation, and virtualization/container platforms, plus applicable course certificates and a TeckyGuys Academy pathway award — positioning you for roles like Junior Linux Administrator, Systems Support Technician, or (after Level 3) Linux Systems Administrator and Junior DevOps Support Engineer.
