TERMS OF USE & POLICIES

1. Introduction
Welcome to TeckyGuys Academy (USA).
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website, enrollment services, academic support programs, live sessions, technician verification services, and related offerings. By accessing our website or enrolling in any program, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not enroll in our programs or use our services.
2. Institutional Structure
TeckyGuys Academy (USA) is a division of Chrome Tech LLC, located at:
601 Quail Valley Drive Georgetown, TX 78626 United States.
TeckyGuys Academy is an Official Cisco Networking Academy Institution.
All coursework is delivered through the Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) platform. TeckyGuys Academy provides structured academic support layered around Cisco’s curriculum but does not own or modify Cisco course content.
3. Nature of Services
TeckyGuys Academy provides:
• Enrollment coordination for Cisco Networking Academy courses
• Structured academic guidance
• Optional instructor-led reinforcement sessions
• Career readiness preparation
• Workforce transition support
• Optional technician verification pathway.
TeckyGuys Academy does NOT:
• Issue Cisco certifications
• Administer Cisco certification exams
• Control Cisco certification policies
• Guarantee job placement
• Guarantee internship placement
• Guarantee income or employment outcomes
Certification decisions are made solely by Cisco and authorized testing providers.
4. Refund Policy
Because enrollment includes administrative onboarding, structured support access, and third-party coordination:
- Self-Paced enrollment fees are non-refundable once onboarding has begun or NetAcad coordination has been completed.
- Cohort fees are refundable up to 7 days before the program start date.
- Once a Cohort begins, payments are non-refundable.
- Workforce and Premium program refunds may be considered only before onboarding and structured access begin.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to: usa@teckyguys.com
Approved refunds may be subject to administrative processing fees.
TeckyGuys Academy reserves sole discretion in evaluating refund eligibility consistent with these Terms.
5. Enrollment & Payment Terms
Enrollment fees are listed on the website at the time of registration and are subject to change for future enrollments.
Current pricing (subject to change):
- Self-Paced Structured Support: $495 per pathway
- Instructor-Led Cohort: $1,950
- 24-Week Workforce Program: $4,950
- Premium Program: $6,500
Full payment or an approved installment plan must be completed before program access is granted. Failure to complete payment obligations may result in suspension of access.
Chargebacks initiated without prior written dispute resolution may result in immediate account termination and denial of future services. Clients agree to contact TeckyGuys Academy in writing to attempt resolution before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute.
6. Third-Party Platform Disclosure
Course content is delivered through Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad). Students must comply with Cisco’s terms of service, privacy policies, and platform rules. TeckyGuys Academy is not responsible for:
- Cisco platform outages
- Curriculum updates made by Cisco
- Certification exam policy changes
- Cisco account suspensions
- Third-party testing center issues
7. Academic Conduct
Students must:
- Complete coursework independently
- Comply with Cisco NetAcad academic integrity policies
- Participate respectfully in live sessions
- Avoid plagiarism, cheating, or misrepresentation
Violations may result in immediate removal without refund.
8. Career Transition Disclaimer
TeckyGuys Academy provides career readiness support including:
- Resume guidance
- Interview preparation
- Portfolio support
- Optional technician verification pathway
Violations may result in immediate removal without refund.
However:
- We do not guarantee job placement.
- We do not guarantee internship placement.
- We do not guarantee income.
- We do not guarantee technician assignments.
Employment outcomes depend on individual performance, certification results, employer decisions, and market conditions.
9. Workforce Funding Disclosure
TeckyGuys Academy does not participate in federal student aid programs (FAFSA, Pell Grants, Title IV).
We may provide documentation or guidance for workforce funding applications; however, funding approval is determined solely by external agencies.
We do not guarantee funding approval.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, logos, materials, and program structures created by TeckyGuys Academy are the intellectual property of Chrome Tech LLC unless otherwise stated.
Cisco trademarks and course materials remain the property of Cisco Systems, Inc.
Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution is prohibited.
11. Privacy Policy
TeckyGuys Academy collects limited personal information necessary for:
- Enrollment processing
- NetAcad onboarding coordination
- Academic communication
- Program administration
We do not sell personal data. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are implemented to protect user information.
Information may be shared with Cisco Networking Academy solely for enrollment and coordination purposes. Students are subject to Cisco’s privacy policies when using NetAcad.
12. Technician Network Disclaimer
Participation in the Technician Network is optional and subject to:
- Verification requirements
- Background screening
- Compliance checks
- Market demand
Acceptance is not guaranteed.
Participation does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship with Chrome Tech LLC.
Technicians operate as independent contractors subject to separate agreements where applicable.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeckyGuys Academy and Chrome Tech LLC shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of employment
- Loss of income
- Certification exam failures
- Third-party platform disruptions
- Delays outside our control
Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific program in dispute.
14. Force Majeure
TeckyGuys Academy shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental actions, internet outages, platform disruptions, or other force majeure events.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Texas.
16. Modifications
TeckyGuys Academy reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
